The Russian Satellite News Agency just reported that the world's largest hacker group announced a "cyberwar" against Russia.
The international hacker group Anonymous has declared a "cyberwar" against Russia over Russia's military operations in Ukraine and claimed responsibility for a cyberattack on Russia Today (RT).
The group tweeted: "'Anonymous' officially launched a cyberwar against the Russian government. #Anonymous#Ukraine."
The group also claimed: "'Anonymous' has shut down #Russian propaganda channel RT News."
As of press time, reporters from Global Network have logged in to the news website page of "Russia Today" (RT) (https://www.rt.com) and found that they can log in normally.
