On April 19, Ukrainian official Sergei Ghede in the Luhansk region said that the Russian army had occupied the eastern Ukrainian city of Kreminna, and Ukrainian troops had withdrawn from the city. According to Reuters, Kreminna appears to be the first city to be confirmed to be occupied by Russian forces following a new offensive in Udong.
