On March 5, local time, the Russian Ministry of Defense released a video saying that Russian troops took control of the village of Radensk in the Kherson region and the nearby military base of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Russian side said that the base can accommodate about 4,000 people, and there may have been multiple military services training here before. The loot found includes T-64 and T-80 tanks, armored personnel carriers, and more.

There is also an ammunition depot in the base, which contains mines, anti-tank missiles, etc., with a total of more than 4,500 tons of ammunition. The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that mine clearance operations are currently underway at the base, and equipment and weapons will be sent to special storage areas after inspection.
