Putin Offers Macron Three Conditions For Resolving Ukraine Crisis

According to the Kremlin, the presidents of Russia and France had a serious and in-depth exchange of views on all aspects of the situation in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin told French President Emmanuel Macron in a phone call that the Ukraine issue could only be resolved if Russia's security interests were taken into account. According to the report, Putin told Macron that Russia was open to negotiations with Ukrainian representatives. Putin also told Macron that the following conditions must be met to resolve the Ukraine issue, including recognition of Russia's sovereignty over Crimea, demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, and Ukraine's guarantee of neutrality.
