On March 8, local time, the monitoring system of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has stopped transmitting data to the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency noted that the remote transmission of data from the nuclear fuel safeguards system originally installed at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant had ceased.
