The White House stated on February 25, and Biden signed a memorandum that the United States will immediately provide emergency military assistance to Ukraine.
The statement noted that Biden authorized the U.S. Secretary of State to provide Ukraine with up to $250 million in aid, depending on whether it is significant to U.S. security interests. And defense items and DoD services up to a total value of up to $350 million, as well as military education and training.
