South Korean military sources said that the soldier flew from South Korea to Poland without authorization the day before (21st). It is reported that the South Korean government talked to the soldier and persuaded him to return home but was unable to persuade him, and then sought assistance from the Ukrainian government, and was eventually able to control the soldier.
