The Ukrainian navy claimed it destroyed a Russian ship on Thursday morning in the port of Berdyansk in the Black Sea southwest of Mariupol, Sky News reported on March 24.
A video of a suspected ship catching fire was circulated on Sky News, Fox News and other news media.
Sky News reported that they had determined that the video was filmed in the Ukrainian port of Berdyansk.
The video showed open flames and heavy smoke rising near the port, which has been under Russian control since February 27.
The Ukrainian navy said in a statement on Facebook that it had destroyed the landing ship Orsk.
Currently, Russia has not responded.
